London School of Languages has been teaching classes in a friendly and trusting environment for more than 25 years. With teaching centres in 4 locations around the province of Guipúzcoa in the Northern-Spanish region of the Basque Country, we have been able to build a trusting relationship with our students which has help us to grow consistently during this time.
As part of this growth, in 2014 we became the only accredited centre in the Basque Country to offer the Cambridge Assessment English CELTA qualification (Certificate in English Teaching for Adults). Since then, we have trained hundreds of new teachers who are now teaching English all over the world with the prestigious CELTA qualification. Alongside this, we have other teacher training opportunities which we run on a regular basis with the aim of improving the standard of English teaching within the region of the Basque Country and beyond.
We are also an Authorised Centre for Cambridge Assessment English and organise official exams for students from all over the region throughout the year.
At London School of Languages, we strive to create as close a relationship with our students as possible and this is what distinguishes us as a centre of excellence.

At London School of Languages, we believe that what really differentiates a great school from a good school is its teachers.
As the only accredited CELTA centre in the Basque Country, we understand the value of Teacher Training and ensure that we provide the best possible training to teachers both within and outside of our organisation.
When given the correct knowledge, guidance and support, teachers perform more confidently in the classroom and are able to better adapt to different teaching situations. It is for this reason that we strongly believe that continuous professional development empowers teachers, whilst arming them with new methods and techniques to use in their classes.
Not only is Teacher Training a great way to learn from experienced tutors, but it is also an invaluable opportunity to share ideas with other teachers who may be facing the same issues in class. A teacher with great ideas only affects one class of students at a time; the effects of a teacher who shares these ideas with others are endless.
Through our Online Teacher Training Courses, we strive to expand our network and reach teachers around the world who are seeking out new and exciting ways to make the classroom a more positive place for both teachers and students alike.
We have a variety of online courses to suit individual teaching needs. Whether it be the shorter 2-hour sessions or the longer courses, we have something for you. All of our Teacher Trainers are CELTA tutors and have had extensive experience training teachers in a variety of contexts.

Exams are something which many learners of English have to face nowadays, and it’s not always easy for them to understand fully what each part of the exam requires. At London School of Languages, we have had years of experience in the field of exam teaching and this has enabled us to become very familiar with how they work and what problems learners may encounter in the process of studying for such exams.
In all of our centres, we provide supplementary exam technique classes, which provide learners with a unique opportunity to analyse their exam technique in-depth and grow in confidence when it comes to facing the different required elements. They are able to work on the parts in which they underperform as well as increasing their overall exam efficiency to avoid any unnecessary and costly mistakes in the real thing.
We believe that, alongside a solid linguistic knowledge base, exam technique training is what sets candidates apart from the rest and can really make the difference. But why just offer this to people who have time to come a face-to-face class? Many students have busy lives and can’t find the time to attend a regular technique classes and therefore opt for studying for exams at home, with very little knowledge of the format and the requirements.
With our Online Exam Preparation Courses, we give you the opportunity to study exam technique from the comfort of your own home. Work at your own pace and receive constant teacher feedback on your performance in practice exams.
These online technique classes are for students of English who wish to improve their exam technique in order to prepare themselves for one of the official Cambridge English Exams. These are 8-week courses in which students will have direct communication with the teacher and will submit practice exams to them via the online platform to be corrected. The teacher will then send back the corrections with comments on different elements of the exam and how they can improve their knowledge for the next practice exam. Students will be expected to complete a full exam each week and send their answers to the teacher. All material will be available to download from the online platform, including audios.
Speaking exam practice will be organised via Skype and students will be able to select from a choice of available speaking slots provided by the teacher. There is no fixed start/end date to the exam preparation courses, but students will only have 8-week access to the online platform and the material from the moment they make the payment.
These are the online exam preparation courses which are currently available:
